Best buddy vacation!

Annette and her family moved about 7 hours away from us last summer. Which was soooo sad. So the boys and I took a little drive and went to see them last month. (My camera has been lost since then with these pictures in it. So happy I finally found it!)

We didn't tell any of the kids that they would be seeing each other so it would be a super awesome SURPRISE! We are the sneakiest moms EVER! Hehe!

I don't think they knew what was going on for a second...

even after they saw each other. LOL!

I think Trypten weighed more than MacKelle, but she's tough so she held him a lot anyway! :)

We spent a few hours at Chuck E. Cheese's when we got there. The kids were in heaven!

It was so good to see them. Can't wait for many more best buddy vacations to come!

Family 5K

My sister FINALLY came back home for a visit with her boys. So we decided we wanted to do a little family 5K while she was here. Anyone in the family that wanted to join in could come along. Originally it was supposed to be a jogging 5K... however, I had an injured back and my doc said no jogging, and Brandi had an injured knee and her doc said no jogging... so instead of cancelling we did a 5K walk. It was a lot of fun! Maybe next time we will all be in working order and will be able to actually do it the right way! :)

Chubba Dubbas

Still here!

I know it's been a while... but I'm still here! My computer froze up and we had to spend some serious cash to get it working again. Then when we got it back, the internet wouldn't work. While that was going on, I was flat in bed with my back out! So... now the computer is working, the internet is working, and my back is working again... FINALLY!!!

On another note...

Look at my hair. It is getting so long! And I finally bought a new hair straightener (ion) which I am loving. Not loving the long hair so much, but if I have to have it long, I am glad I have the new straightener to go along with it. :)

So the piggy banks have been judged and Kyler's bank won 2nd place!

He was so excited!!
He said, "I've always wanted a cup trophy, cool!"

A Robot and A Rocket

This is the Robot Valentine Box that Corden made for school.

He won the prize for "most clever" Valentine box! This is the Piggy Bank Rocket that Kyler made for a contest that the bank out here is having. They will be getting judged soon. They are giving away a $100.00 savings bond and a trophy to the 1st place winner, and trophies to 2nd and 3rd place. He's hoping he wins! :)

Sledding at Jake and Cristie's!

On Saturday a bunch of us got together and went sledding. My cousin Jake and his wife Cristie just happen to have the perfect sledding hill - their front yard! So awesome! Jake pulled everyone around on sleds behind the four wheeler too.
I wish I would have gotten this amazing back flip jump (that Brandi did just before I took this picture) on video... It was simply amazing! Hahaha!

Trypten stayed warm and took a snooze while we were sledding. Maybe next year he'll be able to go down the hill... I didn't want to wake him up this year! ;)
