Yesterday Annette and I took these three kiddos and went to town.

so that you can eat lunch at

the Olive Garden! :)

So for the last few days I've been busy working on getting the Junior Miss program laid out and ready to go to the print shop. I am happy to say that today I took it in and it's printed and ready to go!! I am so excited with how it turned out!
The boys have been so good while my focus has been on getting it done. However, I think they are excited to have Mom's attention back on them again... and I think Stan is probably ready to hear about something other than the program layout, background, fonts, etc.
I just want to say Thanks Dad for installing the fab program on my computer so that I could get the program done how I wanted it, and for answering questions for me when I didn't understand something.
Now it's back to my 24/7 Mom/Wife job again!

cookies and boxes

Okay, so here's the story...

At the boys' school, they sent home a note that said for $1.25 they would take a special Valentine's cookie to your child. Well, Annette and I were talking and we decided that we wanted our kids to have a special cookie, but we didn't want to pay $1.25 for it. So I made the boxes, and she made the cookies. Then we each decorated our own cookies. This is how the cookies turned out.
And these are the boxes for the cookies to go in.

MacKelle's box was the only girl box, so I put a bow on it to pretty it up for her.

We went down to the school together on Friday and MacKelle delivered Kyler, Corden and Trace's cookies to them in their classes. They were all so surprised and so excited! It was so much fun to watch, and it didn't cost $1.25 per cookie either! (And bonus*** there were cookies for everyone else to eat too!)

My cousin did a pay it forward on her blog a while back and I signed up for it. (That's why I made the snow blocks in Dec.) A couple of days ago, I got a package in the mail that said pay it forward. Girls Night Out!

Do you ever just need a night out- no kids, no men?

Well we did!

So, we hopped in the jeep last night and went to town to have a girls night out!

It was so much fun!

We went to see New Moon

(Annette and I had seen it once before, Valerie got to see it for the first time)

and afterwards we went out for some food... and of course some dessert too!

Can I get a WoOt wOoT!!

I am so excited about our newest remodel!!! Up until 9 days ago, we have had to walk outside from our garage and up the stairs to get into the house. Now we walk up the new stairs in the garage, and through our NEW DOOR, right into the house! It has been wonderful! Now I just have to touch up a couple of spots with some red paint and it's done!

No more walking outside through the snow and leaving a big fat Wet Mess (for Mom to clean up) when we come in the house- WoOt wOoT!!
