Made this for my friend Tiffany's new baby girl, Avery. Congratulations Tiff and Vince! 
Today my ward R.S. had a watch making party. You pick out a watch face and then you pick out whatever beads that you want to use and put together your watch bands.
These are the watch bands that I made.
I thought I needed one that was somewhat neutral colors so this is what I came up with.
This is my green and zebra stipes. I thought zebra stripes would be fun and green is my fave color.
Now you all know that I love FUN and FUNKY! I really enjoyed picking out the beads to put this one together! Everyone said it was " So Bobi!"
All you need is ribbon, cut long enough to fit around the waist and tie in a bow, and tulle cut in strips that are 3 or 4 inches wide. (You can find very inexpensive tulle at Wally's.) The length will depend on the size of child (or adult) you are making it for. I cut my strips 3" wide.
Fold your tulle in half so that it makes a loop at the top. Stick it under the ribbon.
Take the loose ends of tulle
and put them through the loop.
Pull through...
and down.
Repeat until your tu-tu is the desired fullness that you want.
And there you have it. So Easy, right!!!!

Kyler got a new camera for his 8th birthday and has been taking some really good pictures. He took these pictures on our trip to Yellowstone park with Grandpa and Grandma H.

These pictures are of the ants at the picnic area where we stopped to eat lunch.
Kyler and Corden were standing there looking at the ants when all of a sudden Corden starts screaming. Yep, the ants were climbing up his legs! They were pretty big ants and I probably would have screamed too!

This is the recipe book that I entered. We made these for an activity for Young Women's.
Inside the little binder are different sections. Each of the young women and leaders brought 3 recipes each and everyone got copies of them to put into their binders.
This is the "no sew tu-tu" that I entered. So easy and so cute. It's going to be a birthday present for my friend Annette's little girl MacKelle! (So don't let her see this Annette!) :o)
This is the carseat blanket cover that I entered. I was so excited when I saw that I got the reserve champion ribbon! How exciting!
I saw someone in town one day with one of these and just had to make one! So when Jefferey and Victoria had Jack I made one for them with their left over material from Jacks nursery bedding set. (It turned out really cute. Wish I had taken a picture. I'll have to see if they have one.)
The ribbons tie to the handle leaving room for you to pick up your carseat without a bulky blanket in between your hand and the handle. This also makes it so that the blanket is held up and off of your baby's face.
Then when you want to see your cute baby's face, you just fold the blanket cover under. How fun is that! Thanks McKenna for letting me use your carseat for these photos!

We've got two terrible two's right here.

Last night Kyler got stung on the right ring finger by a bee. He broke out in a rash all over his chest, belly, and back and his finger swelled up. I gave him benadryl and the rash went away, but his finger was still swollen. When he got up this morning his whole hand was swollen!
So I called down to the clinic and asked the nurse if she thought I should bring him in. She told the doctor and he said to come right down! So off we went. Well, the benadryl took care of the allergic reaction- however, the bee sting is infected! The doctor said it was good that I brought him in because in a matter of 12 hours it may have spread halfway up his arm and kept traveling! So hopefully the oral antibiotics will work and he won't have to go back in and get the shot. We're supposed to watch it very closely for the next couple of days to make sure that the swelling doesn't go up his arm any further and that no more redness appears. Wish him luck! Dang bee! It does my little heart good knowing that when that stinger ripped off... that bee kicked the bucket! Serves him right for stinging my boy!
Okay, it's been 5 1/2 months since I got these bad boys on! Thought it was a good time for an update. I had a rough couple of months at first, there was one of my teeth on the bottom that was turned in towards the other one and they had to make space in order to hook the bracket on that tooth into the wire. So I had springs pushing my other teeth apart so that they could get it hooked in there. So glad that part's over with! Those springs were a royal pain! I have been wearing elastics since the second appointment with the exception of last month. (It was so nice to have that month of elastic free time!) And can I tell you how much I love my headgear!!! Right now I have to wear three elastics. One triangle elastic on the left side, and one straight elastic and one triangle elastic on the right side. It's not very much fun, lots of pressure all the time! I am excited about my "extreme overjet" as my ortho called it though! Can you see how close my teeth are getting?! They are a little bit closer with the elastics on than they are with them off but I am so excited about my progress! 2 more years to go! (Hopefully less!) :o)
