The Heater and The Cracked Ignitor

My Dad called me and asked me where the picture was and why all the other posts had pictures and the heater one didn't. So here you go Dad. Pictures of the heater and the cracked ignitor that caused all the fuss. I should have gotten a picture of Vince squeezed back in the corner of my laundry room working on it but I wasn't exactly thinking, "oh, I've Got to get the camera." At that particular point in time, I was thinking,"Please work so we don't freeze." Well, I hope everyone enjoys these pics, especially you Dad! :)

Heater issues!!!

So the heater at the house totally quit working tonight and since Stan's not home our friend Vince came over and fixed it for us. It took around two hours to get everything figured out and fixed. We are so thankful to have such great friends! So I just need to give a big shout out to him for fixing the heater and making sure that the boys and I didn't freeze! THANKS VINCE!!!

Handsome Threesome

There was a girl taking pictures at my mom's daycare so she called me and told me that I needed to come in to town and get the boys' pictures taken. I am so glad I did because I think the boys look so handsome! Ryker was being a little stinker before the pictures so I was afraid that he would do the same while they were being taken, but he did great! Corden was not at all happy with the old fashioned clothes (he is very picky about what he will and will not wear.) But he did great as well. Kyler did awesome, (I think he may have been showing off for the young girl who was taking the pictures!) Such a ladies man. I just love this handsome threesome!

Grandpa's Hat

Our family went on a trip with Grandma and Grandpa H. this summer to Yellowstone Park. While we were in their van I turned around and Corden looked so handsome in Grandpa's hat that I just had to take a picture of him. I think he looks a bit Indiana Jones-ish, or maybe it's Grandpa-ish!

Bobi's Baby Bouquets

My friend Annette Had her baby boy this morning. Sunday, January 25th. (This is an addition to my last baby bouquet post.) Here are a couple of pics of the baby bouquet that I made for her new addition. Kind of a jungle animal theme. (Lion, Elephant, Giraffe, Outfit with Sea Turtle on it.) Then of course other things that babies and boys like (Wrist Rattles, Hotwheels Car and Hummer.) Then we can't forget Mom. (That's why I added the candy.) Something every mom needs after having a baby. Plus, it just adds that extra deliciousness to the bouquet! Congrats Annette!! We can't wait to meet your new little baby boy!

I love to make these things. The first one I made was for Jack at Victoria's baby shower. Then I made one for McKenna at Danielle's baby shower. This one is going to be for a friend of mine. She is expecting a boy in February. I thought it turned out really cute.
I had to take the jeep in to get it fixed and Brandi totally dropped her whole day to take me to Wally's so I could get all the stuff to do this. So, a great big thanks to her. I couldn't have pulled it off without her.

Oh Crap!

So a while back I hear Ryker just screaming. I go running to see what's wrong, and I see Ryker trying to get his potty seat off from around his neck. What was my first thought? "Where's the camera, this is so funny!" I don't think he thought it was as funny as I did though as you can probably tell. I think his thoughts were probably more along the lines of, "Oh Crap!" Some memories are definitely sweeter than others!

Our Family

So we finally got a computer! Now I just need to start figuring out how to use it. Well, let me share a bit of what's going on in our lives. Kyler is in first grade this year. He got a tool kit for Christmas and can't wait for things to break so that he can "fix" them. He started taking piano lessons last month and is really enjoying it. He has a wonderful piano teacher. Corden is in kindergarten in Hamer this year. I am so excited that he loves the bus ride because he is on the bus for an hour on the way to school and half an hour on the way home! Lucky he's not one of those kids that gets car sick. He loves everything boy - sports, dinosaurs, transformers, power rangers, ninja turtles etc. You name it, he's into it! Ryker gets mom all to himself from 8:00 - 12:00 while both big brothers are at school. He loves all of the attention, and I love that he loves it. Ryker has been really into Thomas the train ever since we went to "A Day Out With Thomas" with Grandma and Grandpa this summer. We bought a Thomas bedspread for his toddler bed (he held it in the cart the whole time we were in Target toot-tooting.) He is also very into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He makes Mom and Dad sing the TMNT theme song all the time. Stan is working hard as always. He really does a great job at the shop. You will never find a better autobody repair man than him! He surprised me last month when he took me to Jackpot for our anniversary. We had a lot of fun. It was a really nice trip. Bobi - I'm home taking care of the kids and the house. I love being able to stay home and be a mom. I'm really thankful to Stan for that. I was asked to be on the board for the West Jeff. Junior Miss this year - secretary - I'm a little bit nervous but at the same time really excited. Well, that's what's going on with us. Till next time.
