Pay It Forward

Okay, so I went on over to my cousin Tammy's blog and she is doing a "pay it forward" game. What a great idea!

Pac Man, Inkie, Pinkie, Blinkie and Clyde

Every year in October our FHE group has a Halloween Party. Well, Monday was the night. It was a blast! The kids had so much fun and so did the adults! I forgot to take my camera so Pam took this picture for me- THANKS PAM! This is the first time we have gone as a family costume. It was really fun. We went as Pac Man and the Ghosts (Inkie, Pinkie, Blinkie and Clyde).

Ryker loves to do his letters. Corden wanted to ask him "which letter" so I got out the camera. Such a cute little smarty pants!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... already!!

We were definitely not ready for this! It's October 5th, and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... already!!
The leaves haven't even fallen off the trees yet...

which made the branches covered in snow a bit heavier than they normally would be on the first snowfall! We had a few broken branches like this in the yard today!

The trees look so sad being weighed down by all of that heavy snow!

I could hardly believe the view when I looked outside this morning!

We figured, if it's going to snow, we'd better get out there and play in it! The trampoline doesn't bounce as good when it's being weighed down by all of that snow! But the boys still had fun bouncing each other around!

The snow was the best packing snow!

The boys worked together to make giant snowballs to build their snowmen!

Ryker thought the snowballs made perfect snacks!

Even though I think it's a bit early for this kind of weather, I have to admit that we really did have a great time playing in the snow together! We may have to go out and play again this afternoon too! (After the snow clothes finish drying out!)

Country Livin'

All summer long the boys have been watching the field behind the house grow taller and taller. Finally the day came when it was time to cut it all down and make it into BALES! They were SO EXCITED!

They had so much fun! The bales were so tall. I think they thought they were super heroes standing up there! I mean, They are super heroes!

I Remember When...

I remember when I was a little girl, I used to do this all the time. Makes me smile to see my kids enjoying doing the same things at my parents house that I did when I was a kid. I also remember these "ramps" being A LOT bigger when I was little!

Remembering Grandma with a little bit of fun!

At my Grandma's grave site we were able to get a picture with my parents and their kids. Don't know how long it has been since we've done that! So here's a picture of Jefferey, The Mom, Me, JoAnna, and The Dad. Aah, we're so cute!
All of the grandsons were pall bearers and had purple carnation boutonnieres and the granddaughters all got long stemmed pink carnations.

After the funeral and luncheon, everyone went to Nola and Gordon's house to hang out and visit. I guess I needed a nap! (I didn't get much sleep while JoAnna and Jefferey were staying at my house!)

The kids thought it would be fun to wade around in this HUGE mud puddle!

Ryker carried around this cupcake for a while until he decided he could just finish the frosting then drop it in the mud puddle where no one would ever find it!

Pretty soon the wading around turned into full blown flopping around!

They really had a blast!
