Sometimes naughty is just so darn cute!

I started running the bath water and told Trypten to take his jammies off while I ran into the other room to grab something really quick.  When I came back into the bathroom, this is what I found!!
Apparently it's way too hard to wait long enough to get your jammies off first... when it's bath time!

And this happened a couple days after the bath with clothes.
It was way too quiet while I was busy in the kitchen making food for the family!
So I asked Stan to go find out what Trypten was doing.
He was putting on eyeliner and mascara!
Sometimes naughty is just so darn cute!

Kyler the Townskid

I was looking through some pictures and realized that I never posted these from Kyler's play last year!!
He tried out and was selected to be a townskid in the play, "The Pied Piper."  He is the one in the yellow shirt, brown vest and pageboy cap.
It was the first play he has ever tried out for.   He did awesome!!
After it was over he said he loved it and would like to be in more plays!  Can't wait to see what play he will be in next! :)

Seat Belt Pillows

I whipped up these fun seat belt pillows for our trip to visit the Moss Family last month.  The kids loved them.  They made for a much more comfortable drive.
Kyler is doing his very best fake sleeping impression! LOL!
PS... thanks for letting us come stay at your new beautiful home Moss Fam!
We love you guys and miss you every day!

A Football Star is Born... and Cast Off!

Corden started playing Grid Kid Football this year.
He is having so much fun!
He is playing Right Half Back in this picture.
Look at that big tall kid he has to block!!  That's our Football Star! :)
After 5 Looonnng weeks... Ryker got to get his cast off!
It was a very happy day for him!
They took a couple of X-Rays to make sure it healed up correctly.  (Which it did. Yay!)
Woo Hoo!!  That is one very Happy Cast-Off Boy!

Ryker and his Broken Tibea!!

Well, I guess we do like to break in pairs around here, because Stan broke his collar bone about 4 weeks ago... and today Ryker broke his tibia!  He was jumping on the trampoline with Kyler and Corden.  He was jumping all cool on one leg when his bounce got taken away and... well, let's just say that jumping on one leg doesn't really seem like such a cool idea anymore !
Getting the Xrays.
Getting some really awesome stickers because he was
SO BRAVE and SO TOUGH!!
Getting wheeled out to the car from the ER - with a really BIG cast!

Kyler's Wonky Quilt

I made this wonky quilt for Kyler for his birthday.  I had someone free motion quilt it with squiggly lines and stars since there are a lot of stars in the fabric he picked out for it.  He wanted the fabric colors to match his bedroom.  However, there is no red in his bedroom colors, so he picked out a red material that he liked and I put little bits of red here and there.
I added a fun strip to the back of the quilt so that it tied in to the front side as well.  I absolutely loved making this quilt.  It was so much fun putting it together and seeing it all come together looking so wonky!
Best thing about this quilt... HE LOVES IT!

I have been making homemade baby wipes for a while now and thought I should do a post about them.  They smell great and work great!  I love them!  First off, I tried Bounty and Viva paper towels because I read up a lot on making these and they were the top 2 paper towels that people loved.  I prefer the Viva.  They seem to be the most durable.  Now on to the directions.
Homemade Baby Wipes
2 C. Water
1 Tbsp. Baby Oil
2 Tbsp. Baby Wash
~Boil water in microwave for 5 minutes.  Then add baby oil and baby wash.  Stir well.  Pour into wipes container.  Place paper towel ½ roll, cut side down, into solution.  Put lid on and let sit until solution has been absorbed.  Next, turn container upside down for 10 minutes.  After 10 minutes, flip container right side up.  Open and remove inner cardboard roll.  Start wipes by pulling a towel up from the center of the roll.
This Sterilite container is seriously perfect for these wipes!  I got mine at Wal-Mart.  I'm pretty sure I paid $4.50 for it.  Perfect size for the 1/2 roll of paper towel, and pretty much air tight.  Some people were saying they had mold growing on their wipes so I wanted to get the best container possible to prevent that from happening.  I haven't had any issues with mold.  Plus I wonder if maybe they weren't boiling their water?  Hmm.. I don't know!  In my directions, "boil water for 5 minutes" actually means: Place water in microwave safe bowl and cook for 5 minutes.  (They're my directions- I'll write them however I want! I know what I mean!  Lol!)  If you prefer to boil your water on the stove top, just make sure it boils for 2 minutes. :)
