Father's Day at Shoshone Falls

For Father's Day Stan wanted to go for a drive to Shoshone Falls so we could see them while the river is running so high. On the way there, we stopped to take a quick picture of this spring coming out of the mountain and the guy behind us totally honked at us! I don't think I like him very much! Don't know him, and don't like him!
The kids thought that the hills around the Shoshone Falls viewing area were the best "rolling" hills EVER!

Here they are... Shoshone Falls. Simply breathtaking!!

We stopped in Arco on our way there and picked up our friend Berneice. It was really nice to be able to have a good visit with her. We had a great time.

The spray from the falls was the best! The kids loved it! We definitely got wet!

What a great Father's Day!

There's nothing wrong with my Pajamas!

Ryker came walking up the stairs in Trypten's pajamas the other morning. When I saw him I laughed so hard! Cracks me up that he didn't think there was anything out of the ordinary about the way they fit.

(Excuse the mess in the background, we're in the middle of our kitchen remodel.)

Girl trip, and talent show, and birthdays... oh my!

It has been a busy month! I went on a girl trip (plus Trypten) to SLC with these crazy ladies!

Left to right: Me, Trypten, Brandi, Danielle, Cristie, Bonita

We hung out, went shopping, relaxed in the hot tub, painted our toenails, and ate delicious food! In this picture we are at Tucanos. What a fabulous place to eat! Pretty much a guarantee that next time Stan and I take a trip to SLC we will be going there to eat! :) We had so much fun! Can't wait to do it again!!

Corden had his 2nd grade talent show. In this picture they are dancing to the song Labumba (sp). He did such a good job! He even danced and twirled the girl next to him in the black dress! He had so much fun!

Here he is doing his talent (BASKETBALL). He dribbled back and forth with the girl standing up there with him and then he dribbled the ball under his leg! He got OOhs and AAhs when he pulled that one off! What an amazing kid!

My birthday was on Friday and Stan and Corden's was on Saturday. I asked Corden what kind of cake he wanted me to make and he told me that he didn't really want cake. He wanted Birthday Brownies!!!

He had birthday cupcakes at school on Friday...

which I enjoyed two of...

it was my birthday after all! :p

So we had birthday brownies on Saturday... and they were scrumptious!! :)

Trypten's 1st Haircut!

Tonight Stan and I decided it was time for Trypten's 1st haircut!
I would have cut it more but Stan doesn't want to get rid of the baby hair that he has still got left. So I trimmed up the long hair that was left on the sides and left the hair on top alone.

Here is his after hair... still wet.

It's so curly when it's wet!

And here's the after... dry and straight.

EaStEr EgGs!!

Every year we go all out when it comes to decorating the Easter eggs. This year was extra special because the boys' cousins were here from Virginia so we got to do them with Thomas and Timothy, and Grandma and Grandpa too! My sister does not put pictures of her boys on the internet so this is the only picture with them in it. (Notice how they all covered their faces with their eggs?) Very clever, eh? I wish we would have taken a picture of one of the rubber cement eggs that we did. They were awesome lookin'! Woops... maybe next year. :)

I know this is kinda late, but... I hope everyone had a great Easter!
