So... Trypten has been experiencing some "technical difficulties".

He has been our little glow bug baby since Wednesday.

The doctor looked at him on Monday and then again on Wednesday. That's when we were sent to the hospital to get his bili-level checked. It spiked in the high risk level at 19.9 (not good at all). Even his tongue and gums were yellow! They had him start laying on the bili-blanket as soon as we got home from the hospital. We had to go back to the hospital again yesterday for another bili-level check and his level had come down to 17.8 - Yay! He will have to stay on the bili-blanket all day and night until we leave to go to his next hospital check on Saturday. Hopefully his levels will drop low enough that he can come off the light.

WARNING: ICKY INFO COMING UP...
He was having some issues peeing and especially pooping. The little guy was born on Wed. the 17th. He pooped the next day and the day after that. He did not poop again until yesterday (6 days later)! Best Thanksgiving ever, we've never been so excited to have to clean up a poopy diaper!

So this is how we've been spending much of our time. Since Trypten is hooked to the machine with a fairly short cord, the boys have been hanging out with him on my bed. I think he's enjoying all the special "entertainment" his big brothers have been providing him with. He's certainly not bored. :)

I love the boys all around him! so sweet! so glad he is doing better. while the bili blanket is annoying he sure makes one cute glow bug!
My younger sister had jaundice really bad and had to have a light too. I'm glad to hear that his levels are going down! He looks soooo much like Ryker!! Well like all your boys really :)
Oh, he's adorable. Glad you've got that bili-level under control! Good to talk to you today! Take care.
