Wonky Quilt for #4

So I finally finished the wonky quilt for #4!
(It took me a while to get brave enough to attempt to do the free motion quilting part!)
But now that it's done, I'm pretty excited about it. Of course it had to have a green backside (gotta start this kid out right)!

The Shark, The Ninja and The Herpetologist

I took this picture just before heading out the door to go trick-or-treating on Halloween night. Kyler put on his snake before we left.

The boys' school does a Halloween Parade through the school. Ryker (The Shark) got to walk with Kyler.

Kyler (The Herpetologist). His pockets are stuffed with rats for the snake!

Corden (The Ninja).
They had a great Halloween!

school pumpkins

Every year at the boys' school they have a pumpkin decorating contest for the kids. The boys were so excited! Ryker isn't in school- but he decorated a pumpkin too. We decided that they would paint now and then carve for Halloween night. Two-fer on the pumpkins.. score!

Newborn hoodie towel for #4

I made this hoodie towel for #4.
I normally wouldn't choose creepy spider fabric for a newborn, but I told Kyler and Corden that they could pick the fabric for this project and they were sure about their choice, (and I couldn't go back on my word) so creepy spiders it is!

All of the tutorials that I found were for child size. I wanted newborn size so it would actually fit him, so I just shortened all of the measurements to what I thought would work.

My newborn hoodie towel model... (not so newborn anymore)!
